Privacy Policy

YellowConnect, operated by Hanu Technos, provides business networking and trip-management tools for cab drivers, vehicle owners and fleet operators. This policy explains what data YellowConnect processes and why.

Data we collect

• Account identifiers such as phone number and Firebase user ID.
• Profile and verification information, including name, city, user type, selfie, driving licence and vehicle documents that you choose to submit.
• Posts, voice notes and business contact information you publish through the app.
• Precise location while the GPS Trip Meter is running, including when the app is closed or not in use.
• Technical information needed for security, notifications, reliability and fraud prevention.

How location is used

Precise location is used only to calculate GPS trip distance, speed, duration and fare during a user-started trip. Tracking starts when you tap Start Trip and stops when you tap End Trip. A foreground notification remains visible during tracking. Location is not used for advertising or sold.

Camera, microphone and notifications

Camera access is used when you capture verification photos. Microphone access is used only when you intentionally record a voice note. Notification access is used for service and app updates. Permissions are requested only for their related features.

Sharing and service providers

YellowConnect uses Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage, app integrity, cloud functions and messaging. Data may also be visible to signed-in users where a feature is designed for sharing, such as cab or driver posts. Verification documents are restricted to their owner and authorized administrators.

Retention and security

Information is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Access controls, authenticated requests and restricted storage rules are used to protect account data.

Your controls

You may edit profile details, stop GPS tracking, deny optional permissions, or permanently delete your account from Profile → Privacy & Account. You may also initiate a deletion request using the website.

Account deletion removes the account and associated profile, cab records, posts, voice notes and uploaded verification media. Limited records may be retained only when required by law, security or fraud-prevention obligations.

Children

YellowConnect is a business service and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
